New Kitchen Cabinets Built Around the Way You Live

When the layout, storage, or cabinet boxes no longer work, new cabinetry gives you the freedom to fix the kitchen instead of decorating around old problems. We plan the cabinets around your room, appliances, cooking habits, storage needs, and the look you want for the finished space.

A well-planned kitchen should make cooking, storage, and everyday cleanup easier—not simply look newer.
A good fit when

New cabinets are the right choice when you want to change the layout, gain better storage, replace worn boxes, or create a kitchen that fits the home more naturally.

Start with the right solution

Is a new cabinet package the right move for your kitchen?

We start with what you have now, what you want to change, and the details that will make the biggest difference in the finished room.

Keep or change the layout

We first decide whether the present cabinet footprint actually serves the household. Dead corners, undersized drawers, inaccessible uppers and awkward appliance spacing are reasons to change it; a sound layout may only need better cabinetry.

Define storage before door style

Drawers, tray dividers, pantry pullouts, trash storage, appliance zones and tall storage affect the cabinet plan more than a sample door does. We inventory the problems before drawing the solution.

Confirm appliance information early

Refrigerator, range, hood, dishwasher, microwave and specialty appliances determine openings, clearances and electrical or ventilation coordination. Final model information should be verified before fabrication.

Choose a finish level that fits the project

Painted, stained and natural-look finishes create different preparation, material and maintenance decisions. Your estimate should clearly identify the selected door profile, finish color and visible end treatment.

Options for your project

Choose the level of cabinet work that fits your project.

The right answer may be refinishing, new doors, refacing, a custom addition, or a complete build. We will compare the choices and spell out exactly what each option includes.

Option

Full cabinet replacement

Remove the existing cabinet package and build a new layout with base, wall, tall and specialty cabinets sized for the room.

Option

New cabinets within the same footprint

Keep plumbing and major appliance positions while replacing worn boxes and improving drawer, shelf and accessory choices.

Option

Island or storage expansion

Add an island, pantry wall, coffee station or additional cabinet run where the room and clearances support it.

Option

Cabinets as part of a larger remodel

Coordinate new cabinetry with counters, backsplash, lighting, flooring and other written remodeling work.

What you can expect

Good cabinet work is in the details.

Door style matters, but so do fit, preparation, proportions, hardware, finish, and installation. The finished room only looks right when all of those details work together.

01

We recommend what fits the job

We look at the existing condition before recommending what to buy. When a focused upgrade can deliver the result, we will say so. When the boxes, layout, or storage need to change, we will explain why.

02

Nothing important is left vague

Doors, drawer fronts, frames, ends, toe kicks, crown, fillers, and interiors are handled differently. Your estimate will clearly list what is being built, finished, replaced, or left in place.

03

Details are approved before we build

Dimensions, door profile, color, sheen, hardware, and hinge choices are checked before custom work begins so the shop has one approved set of information.

04

You know what the estimate covers

You will see what is included, what is optional, and which choices can change the price before work begins.

What to expect

What to expect from measurements through installation.

Before anything is built or finished, we confirm the measurements, materials, style, color, hardware, and exact scope of work.

Project review

We discuss what is failing in the current kitchen, the desired look, appliance plans and the budget level that should guide design decisions.

Field measurements

Walls, ceiling conditions, openings, utilities, appliance locations and circulation clearances are measured and documented.

Layout and selections

We establish the cabinet arrangement, door style, finish direction, storage accessories and visible details before final pricing.

Fabrication and preparation

Approved cabinet components are built or prepared according to the written scope. Final information must be complete before production begins.

Installation and completion

Cabinets are fitted to actual field conditions, then the included trim, doors, drawers, hardware and adjustments are completed in sequence.

Pricing

What affects the price?

The price depends on the number and size of components, their condition, the materials and finish you choose, and the installation work involved.

  • Total cabinet count and the mix of base, wall, tall and specialty cabinets
  • Painted, stained or other finish requirements
  • Drawer banks, pullouts, organizers, trash systems and specialty storage
  • Crown, finished ends, panels, fillers, light rail and furniture-style details
  • Demolition, disposal and field correction included in the written scope
  • Countertop, backsplash, plumbing, electrical and other remodeling coordination

Your estimate will clearly list the work, materials, selections, and responsibilities included in the price. Requested changes are discussed before additional work moves forward.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about New Kitchen Cabinets

No. A project can replace the full kitchen, one cabinet run, an island or a pantry section. The important question is whether the new portion can be integrated structurally and visually with what remains.

No. New cabinets are the stronger choice when layout, box condition or storage must change. Refinishing can be the better value when the existing cabinet construction and layout are already good.

Yes, but we need accurate appliance dimensions and clearance requirements. Existing appliances should be measured, and new appliances should be identified by final model whenever possible.

They are included only when they are listed in your estimate. Cabinetry, countertops, backsplash, plumbing, electrical work and demolition are separate scope items when your estimate includes them.

Timing depends on design decisions, material availability, fabrication load and the amount of remodeling around the cabinets. Once the details are settled, we will provide a realistic schedule for the work.

Sherwin-Williams color numbers are preferred for painted work. Final appearance can still vary with substrate, sheen, lighting and surrounding finishes, so we confirm the final selection before production begins.
