Cutting, engraving or marking
Cutting separates the profile, engraving removes or changes surface depth, and marking changes appearance with little removal. The desired result determines process and settings.
Laser equipment can create fine cuts, engraved details, and permanent markings that are difficult to produce with a router bit. We evaluate each project by material, thickness, artwork, edge expectations, and intended use before recommending the process.
Laser cutting or engraving is a good fit for detailed artwork, identification, small components, decorative pieces, prototypes, and projects that need a finer line than routing can provide.
We start by reviewing the file, material, dimensions, quantity, tolerance, edge condition, and finish you need.

PVC, vinyl and chlorinated materials are not accepted for laser processing because hazardous corrosive gases can be released. Unknown plastics require verification.
Acrylic can produce a polished-looking edge under suitable conditions, while wood may darken and metals may require different marking or cutting methods.
Duplicate lines, open vectors, tiny geometry and raster images can create unexpected passes or poor results. Production artwork is reviewed before quoting final output.
Routing, laser cutting, engraving, and marking produce different results. We will review the material and finished goal before recommending the process.
Custom shapes, lettering, layered sign components, plaques and display parts in approved acrylic specifications.
Logos, text, decorative patterns and cut parts in materials confirmed safe and suitable for the desired edge.
Fiber-laser work for approved alloys, thicknesses and marking applications, subject to current machine and estimate request.
Repeated labels, serials, branding or part marks where artwork, placement and material response are established.
Clean files, correct dimensions, suitable material, realistic tolerances, and a clear finished target all matter before the machine starts.
Letter size, contrast, line count, and logo detail are planned for the actual viewing distance—not only for how the artwork looks on a screen.
Interior walls, exterior panels, roadside signs, and hanging signs need different materials, thicknesses, finishes, and mounting preparation.
You approve the spelling, dimensions, colors, layout, and major construction details before cutting and finishing begin.
The estimate explains whether it covers the sign face, posts, structure, hardware, delivery, permitting, electrical work, or installation so there are no vague assumptions.
We confirm the file, dimensions, material, quantity, tolerance, and finish expectations before machining begins.
Provide exact material, thickness, quantity, dimensions and whether the work is cut, engraved or marked.
We inspect vectors, raster quality, line duplication, small features and whether a test piece is necessary.
Machine process, material supply, setup, edge expectations, tolerances and finishing are written into the quote.
Parts are processed with appropriate settings and checked for the approved visual or dimensional criteria.
Protective masking removal, cleaning, assembly, paint fill, packing or delivery is included only when quoted.
The price depends on setup time, material, thickness, quantity, machine time, detail, tolerance, finishing, and handling.
Your estimate will clearly list the work, materials, selections, and responsibilities included in the price. Requested changes are discussed before additional work moves forward.
Laser work is reviewed through our Jasper shop for smaller detailed parts, engraved branding, templates, plaques, markings, and other suitable materials and applications.
CNC and laser work is produced in Jasper for local and regional customers. Send the file, material, dimensions, quantity, and deadline so we can confirm fit and availability.
Approved acrylics, selected woods and other known safe materials may be processed. Fiber-laser capability may support qualified metals. Every material and thickness is reviewed before acceptance.
No. PVC, vinyl and chlorinated plastics can release hazardous, corrosive gases and are not accepted. Material identity must be known.
Some raster images can be engraved, but the result depends on contrast, resolution, material and size. A test or artwork preparation may be recommended.
File cleanup or design can be quoted. Production-ready vector artwork reduces setup, but we still review it for duplicate lines, scale and manufacturability.
Sometimes, but unknown coatings, curved surfaces, sentimental value and material risk require evaluation. We do not guarantee acceptance of every supplied object.
Work area depends on the specific machine and process. The source operation lists large-format CO2 and fiber capability, but current project dimensions and access are confirmed in the quote rather than assumed.
Send photos and a few details. We will review the project and contact you to discuss the options, timing, and next step.
